Job Description:
Provide Human Resources direction as part of the leadership team.Comapny is located in Michigan City, Indiana (near Chicago). Company has manufacturing facilities in US, China, France and Australia. This position will provide HR leadership in Michigan City for the HR Dept and Office Services, approximately 12 direct reports. Com[any revenue is approximately $650 million, 70% of the revenue is generated in the US and approximately 1350 employees WW, and approximately 800 are US based.
Core responsibilities include directing a staff of professional and support personnel engaged in providing Human Resources Programs. Participate as a member of the Michigan City, IN leadership team to further develop a true business partnership. Apply HR strategy to business strategy, current and future objectives. Partner with the business leaders to manage talent and leadership development, positive employee relations, performance management, compensation programs, benefit programs, diversity initiatives, recruitment and retention strategies, ACE initiatives (continuous improvement tools), legal compliance and cultural development and enhancement.
Job Requirements:
Education BA/BS required
MA/MS/MBA preferred
Experience/Qualifications 10+ years of experience with BA/BS degree
7+ years of experience with MA/MS/MBA degree
4+ years of experience with PhD
Candidate Must Have : Bachelor's Degree
HR Manager role within manufacturing industry
