This individual will work with a staff of analysts and auditors who deal with complex, controversial issues involving the rail industry and the related programs and operations of DOT. This position is located in the Assistant Inspector General for Rail and Maritime Program Audits and Economic Analysis, Office of Inspector General (OIG), Department of Transportation (DOT), Washington, DC. This position has been identified as a telework-eligible position. Key Requirements: Must be a U. S. Citizen You will be required to serve a supervisory probationary period of one year This position may be made permanent without further competition. Major Duties: The incumbent serves as a Project Manager with responsibility for planning, conducting, overseeing, and supervising the performance of audits and evaluations, as well as critical reviews of financial management plans of both corporate and government agencies.
