Job Description:

The individual must be familiar with standard concepts, best practices, and procedures for release management and applications configuration management in global enterprise environments. The individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining global release management policies and procedures. Direct reports to this manager will be responsible for the release management of products including but not limited to: Oracle Enterprise One, Siebel, PeopleSoft HR, Agile, Cognos, Traxi3, Commergent, Hyperion, FAST and custom eCommerce applications. Experience with these or similar products as well as scripting and programming experience (sh, Perl, C, Java, J2EE, VBasic) is highly desirable. This position requires strong organizational and communications skills to ensure a high level of internal coordination, and customer satisfaction. Typical Responsibilities: Defines and manages the release and build processes for QA, Test, and Production systems. Works with the infrastructure teams, implementation teams, and support teams to set up hosted application environments for development, testing, staging, and quality assurance.
