Job Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for directing the daily operations and staff of the Pharmacy Department in a manner that assures a safe, efficient and well-controlled drug distribution system. The Operations Manager performs all duties and responsibilities in compliance with Northwest Hospital policies, state and federal laws, and guidelines set forth by JCAHO. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing employees, including the selection of applicants for non- clinical positions Formulating and implementing the operational goals and objectives of the pharmacy Directing the operational activities of pharmacists and other staff within the department Required Qualifications: Current Washington State pharmacy licensure Graduate from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy A minimum of four to six years clinical pharmacy experience, including at least 1 year supervisory, lead, or managerial experience The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing The manual dexterity sufficient for typing and dispensing prepared medications, including preparation of IV additives Preferred Qualifications:
