Job Description:
Product quality control The successful applicant will be very efficient, innovative, and self motivated; have strong problem solving skills; enjoy working both with people and independently; and be familiar with local government GIS operations. A high degree of attention to detail is an absolute requirement. Must be proficient with ArcMap 9.x and have some experience with graphic design programs. Experience with Computer Assisted Drafting (CAD) or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with ability to read and interpret legal descriptions such as Metes & Bounds, Bearings & Distances, and Jeffersonian Quarter-Quarter calls. A high degree of attention to detail is an absolute requirement. Applicants should be able to work under tight deadlines. Ability to travel occasionally and deal with client demands. A degree in Geography, Civil Engineering, Planning, Computer Science or any relevant field plus 2+ years of GIS experience is required.
