Job Description:
Schedule and supervise maintenance personnel and contracted service providers in completion of facility repairs, material handling equipment, renovations and modifications to include: painting, grounds keeping, structural repairs, roof repairs, carpentry work and plumbing repairs Balance Supervisory floor time with paper work demands Perform some hands-on repair work both leading and assisting other team members Effectively communicate expectations to staff and ensure they are properly trained and given the tools to accomplish the tasks and hold them accountable Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, facility and maintenance information to internal and external contacts Perform necessary personnel functions; interview, assess and conduct performance evaluations, manage attendance records, perform payroll transactions, lead and attend meetings and provide counseling to employees. Determine, monitor and maintain proper levels of spare parts, materials, tools and supplies Enforce safety/security policies within department Perform other duties as assigned.
