Job Federal GIS/IT Business Developer/Project Manager to perform various project management and business development tasks for growing applied technologies group. Accountabilities Extend the current marketing programs for AMEC's Applied Technologies (including GIS) into the Federal marketplace. Provide technical expertise and project management skills for existing and future Information Management related projects. Provide technical guidance to a local and national project team. Provide oversight for information management projects Provide technical writing to support proposal efforts and project documentation Prepare project proposals and conduct client presentations Qualifications A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Environmental Sciences, Geography or related field. Must understand GIS technology (though an expert is not needed) 3+ years of proven/verifiable experience as a Project Manager in a consulting environment 3+ years of Federal Business Development and Client Management experience Candidate must have and be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills Reliability, strong work ethic.
