Job Description:
The Richmond Public Library is seeking candidates to fill a permanent full-time Librarian II position to be Assistant Branch Manager of the Main Branch of the Library System. The successful candidate will report to the Main Library Branch Manager, and work with the Branch Manager to plan, develop and implement programs, services, training and special activities for the Main Library. The successful candidate will directly supervise staff, programs and services in the Children\'s Department; supervise the Circulation Department manager; and supervise the Main Library in the absence of the Main Branch Manager. Other responsibilities will include working at the public service desks in the children\'s department, the adult reference department and in the computer lab; representing the Library with assigned community organizations, schools and other libraries.
