Job Description:
Provides hands-on leadership to new product development projects, establishes timelines, assigns tasks, coordinates intra-departmental activities related to project.
Confer with internal and external customers to determine their needs.
Apply Lean tools to New Product Development Process.
Work closely with mfg. and sourcing to ensure timely accurate and smooth new product introductions.
Develop and apply Policy Deployment metrics to area of responsibility.
Works with Marketing department with the development of product marketing collateral.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Product Design. (Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum five years Design Engineering experience in related mechanical industry (outdoor power, automotive, recreational vehicle, agricultural products, etc.)
Previous engineering responsibility for entire product (not component) and/or product development projects.
Previous experience with FEA and product reliability and conformance testing is a PLUS.
