Job Description:
At least three (3) - five (5) years experience in management or supervisory capacity in the Revenue Cycle Environment, preferably in an acute care hospital. Demonstrate ability to build effective teams. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: At least three (3) years hands on experience managing a hospital business office or billing department. Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Patient Accounting Systems. Duties: Directs various Business Office functions such as: pre billing, posting patient charges and claim editing Provides timely management reports to local and senior leadership Resolves patient and customer complaints as required. Develop, implements and monitors operational practices that maintain compliance with internal KP policies, external regulations and audits recommendation while remaining within budgeted resources. Keeps abreast of state and federal regulations governing reimbursement and departmental regulations, legal issues relating to inpatient and outpatient services.
