Job Description:

Responsible for all cash disbursements of the entire enterprise as well as the initial accounting for these transactions. Provides accounts receivable and accounts payable reporting as needed, and ensures timely and accurate posting and reconciliation to the General Ledger. Provides back up support to the Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager. Responsible for daily oversight of the A/O technical staff and systems to ensure that customers, vendors and stringers are timely and accurately paid. Responsible for ensuring that travel advances and reimbursements to employees are within company policy. Also responsible for timely and accurate billing of the Distribution department's monthly charges. Responsible for training and monitoring the daily work performance of staff, ensuring that standardized schedule deadlines are met. Communicates and documents helpful feedback to staff (at least) on a weekly basis. Provides helpful performance input in the required format on a timely basis to the Accounting Manager and meets requirements of the performance management program. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with NPR units and staff, as well as vendors and customers, by providing high quality customer service.
