Job Description:

Oversees month end process for inventory accounting: Reviews month end journals of senior accountants to assure the integrity of transactions and that they are recorded in accordance with GAAP. - Reviews month end Reconciliations of senior accountants to assure accuracy of liability accounts. - Performs various analyses to include book to perpetual recon, reserve analysis, and various ad-hoc analysis as needed. - Approves CDS look up files and journals. - Interacts cross functionally with other departments to provide inventory and costing guidelines. - Manages and supervises staff to develop and evaluate employees to ensure efficient operation of function, personal growth and development. Conducts 1x1 sessions with employees on a regular basis. Education requirement: Requires BS/BA in Accounting or Business Administration with Accounting Requires 6 years progressive accounting experience with a minimum of 2 year supervisory experience.
