This includes working with Dell Legal and Tax to meet local filing deadlines as well as providing financial information to local third party audit firms. This person will play a key roll in driving process improvements and consistency to the statutory accounting processes in the Americas. Candidate will need to have strong leadership skills, business and financial accumen and managerial skills. Responsibilities: Create a working relationship with Dell Legal and Tax and define each departments role in statutory audit and filing issues Document the current statutory accounting processes throughout the Americas and drive changes for consistency Responsible for timely and accurate statutory reporting from the Americas Learn WW best practices in APJ and EMEA by working with counterparts, impliment best practices in the Americas processes Represent Americas Accounting in the Oracle Localization projects. Manage the various non-Dell resources throughout the region. Includes the documentation of what the non-Dell resources do for Dell and owning the budget for their work. Provide timely and accurate financial information to the local audit firms to be used for local reporting.
