The Manager, GL & AP is also responsible for inventory valuation and reporting and supervises the accounts payable group. Job Duties: Performs management reporting responsibilities. Coordinates the preparation of a formal management reporting package that encompasses program profit and loss statements for company management, and meets with department managers to review monthly financial reports. Sets up and maintains sets of books for each legal entitiy, a corresponding US dollar set of books for each foreign currency entity and a consolidated set of books. Manages multi-level consolidation and foreign currency conversion and revaluation. Performs financial system development functions. Works with other functional areas to manage and ensure continued process improvements through use of the ERP systems, works to integrate all subsystems with Oracle, works to utilize Oracle reporting capabilities to provide for more timely financial analysis, and serves as the interface for implementation and maintenance of new Oracle modules and interfaces.
