Primary Responsibilities: Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) seeks a motivated and dynamic individual for the position of Controller to ensure that financial information is processed accurately and in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and PPFA policies and procedures. Supervises accounting functions and staff, and directs day-to-day cash management for the organization. Oversees, and communicates as appropriate, the system of detail accounting controls and financial policies and procedures to ensure adequacy of and compliance with such policies and procedures. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Manages day-to-day accounting functions to ensure timely, accurate and complete financial information for staff, senior management and National Organization boards (PPFA, Action Fund, and Foundation).2. Oversees the system of general and detail accounting controls and financial policies and procedures, and communicates such policies and procedures to all organization staff, both within and outside the Finance Department, and to others as appropriate.
