Job Description:

The Supervisor reports to the Buy to Pay Disbursements Services Manager within the Financial Services Operation (FSO). The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the department operations meet processing targets, rigorous quality standards and comply with Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures, generally accepted accounting principles and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: Utilize Six Sigma quality metrics to help drive and communicate business decisions. Provide and maintain superior customer service Support Six Sigma projects that will ensure continual process improvement. Reviews account payable ledgers, operational performance metrics and ensure established performance goals are achieved. Ensures compliance with internal policies/procedures, generally accepted accounting principles and regulatory requirements. Promotes a team environment and provides work direction and guidance including coaching, professional development and training. Monitors records of amounts owed and ensure prompt payment of invoices featuring discounts advantageous to the organization.
