Job Description:
To plan and direct comprehensive, as well as strategic and targeted, marketing and communications programs and campaigns which attract prospective students and enhance the college's visibility and image with all audiences. Internal communications and collaborative development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies are requirements of this position. All strategies are developed and evaluated in concert with the goals and objectives of the college's enrollment management plan and other strategic documents. Though college-wide in nature, this position is part of the enrollment management team and is under the supervision of the Director of Enrollment Management. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in communications or marketing-related field Three years experience in an advertising, media, public relations position Strong writing and editing skills Knowledge of contemporary design concepts Demonstrated ability to develop and implement marketing/communications plans Strong computer skills and knowledge of current print technologies Preferred Qualifications: Experience in higher education marketing Knowledge of MnSCU and Minnesota's higher education system Experience in market research methods Experience reaching traditionally underserved student target markets Experience with emerging media such as blogs, social networking sites, pod casts, etc. Application Procedure:Submit cover letter, resume, college transcript(s)
