SAVI Advocates offer comfort as well as provide important information to help survivors regain control over their lives and help begin their healing process. Volunteers must attend a 6-session, 40-hour training course; comply with medical clearance standards; be on call at least one shift per month; and make a one year commitment to the program. The SAVI Program will be conducting interviews now until the beginning of October for the fall training session. You bring your compassion and we'll provide the training. The only requirement is the willingness to be available for someone in need of support.
