Our curriculum and training opportunities prepare graduates to deliver outstanding professional services emphasizing the ability to understand and work with diverse populations.The Assistant Director of Career Services is responsible for assisting the Director to meet career and professional needs for students and alumni. Principal responsibilities include program implementation for career services including onsite and remote constituents (Los Angeles campus and online community) in the areas of career counseling, review of student/alumni job materials, workshop development and organization of professional development opportunities. Additional responsibilities include event planning, data management and serving as a general operations resource for the department. The Assistant Director coordinates with both internal and external constituents to fulfill essential duties. This position reports directly to the Director of Career Services.The successful candidate must possess Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and must have strong organizational skills with the ability to take initiative, manage multiple projects, and work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with computer and web technology uses in career development and career services is essential.
