Job Description:
Prospective technicians will be responsible for: reading and interpreting electrical drawings, compare drawings to as built installation and check for errors and problems, supporting clients and troubleshooting problems, travel to jobsites as needed for installations, testing and training clients, communicate and report problems to management and prepare documentation as required, testing of electrical controls, power system components, and generator systems.
Job Requirements:
*Mimimum Requirements*
- AA in EE or trade/military/nuclear power training.
- NETA Level II
- 7 years in electrical testing field
- General testing knowledge of generators, utility systems, protective relaying, transmission/distribution transformers, power circuit breakers and controls.
- Understanding of the following equip: insulation resistance tester, transformer turns ratio, digital low resistance Ohmmeter, thermographic cameras, relay test sets, high current and secondary injection test sets.
