Job Description:
Plant Engineer in its Windsor manufacturing operation organization. We are seeking a dynamic individual to play an integral role in driving and supporting our business goals and objectives for profitable, sustainable growth. The successful candidate will “lead by example” and act as a proactive liaison between the Maintenance Manager and manufacturing personnel by directing work involved in maintenance, upgrades, and repair of our facilities and equipment to assure that our equipment and facilities are in excellent condition and capable of providing the products our customers require. Core Responsibilities:

• Analyze and provide direction regarding resolution of normal machine maintenance problems.
• Liaise between company and outside vendors.
• Manage department operating budget.
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.
• Identify and manage resources required to successfully execute projects.
• Propose process technology improvements and capital expenditures.
• Identify potential process improvement projects.

Education, Experience and Behavioral Competency Requirements:

• BS or BA degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in a machine shop environment.
• Proven team leadership skills, ability to effectively influence and motivate others. Demonstrated ability as a change agent.
• Substantial functional experience with successful track record of results.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
• Strong Six Sigma background preferred.
