Job Title: Manufacturing Senior Manager Job Responsibilities/Department description: Responsible for the coordination and process transfer of aseptically filled and potentially lyophilized drugs and or Biologics from Genzyme manufacturing sites to a selected Contract Manufacturer. Duties will include contribution to and oversight of the CMO process and validation documentation, assessment of the CMO capabilities, involvement in the sourcing and specifications for any capital equipment purchased for the Genzyme product by the CMO and subsequent validation/qualification of that equipment, and coordination between the CMO scheduling department and the Genzyme bulk manufacturing scheduling department. Basic Qualifications: Candidate must have a Bachelor degree and a minimum of 7 years experience in drug or biologics manufacturing and must display a strong focus on safety, quality, detail and results. Preferred Qualifications: Should have thorough knowledge of the various cGMP requirements for aseptic filling operations for the major regulatory agencies (FDA and MHRA at a minimum)
