This position\'s main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providinother professional organizations and organizations with an interest in issues related to the health, wellness and impairment of healthcare workers; coordinating, executing and evaluating a biennial ADA Conference on Dentist Health and Wellness. This position requires a Master\'s degree and a minimum of 5 years experience with health and wellness issues, including clinical experience with affected health care professionals, supervision, and program design and management; familiarity with professional regulatory issues and knowledge of specialized treatment and monitoring resources; excellent verbal and written communication; public speaking; budgeting; people and problem-solving skills; ability to make independent judgments or to access reliable information in content areas; developing a working knowledge of new content areas as the need arises; working effectively with associations/society staff, volunteers and external agencies; managing multiple projects simultaneously; a clear understanding of confidentiality laws and sensitivity issues related to health and wellness; travel and occasional weekend work and attendance at social/business functions outside normal business hours.
