Identify, analyze and implement projects to drive cost reduction initiatives Drive process optimization within manufacturing facility and supplier base Partner with design engineering to develop and implement cost savings ideas Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements Facilitate discussions regarding areas of improvement in internal/external processes along with possible solutions Manage day to day operational aspects of a project and scope Lead supplier development initiatives Manage cross-platform projects as assigned and provide other tactical and strategic support as required Required Skills: Position Competencies: Bachelors degree in related discipline 3-5 years of project management experience required Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong relationship skills; proven ability to reconcile conflicting needs and obtain consensus from multiple views Strong cross functional project management skills, with the ability to execute projects in a detailed, focused manner including cost tracking, metrics and, status reporting Demonstrated experience in negotiating with suppliers.
