Job Description:
Under general management, supervises the daily operations of multiple clinical and non-clinical areas. Serves as departmental supervisor, although some authority may be delegated to subordinate supervisors. Monitors the continuity of operational systems, procedures and service standards and provides management assistance as needed. Assists with monitoring and managing department budgets. Performs additional functions and independent administrative duties, which may relate to the incumbent's particular expertise, experience, or professional identity. Typically reports to Operations Manager, Assistant Administrator/Director or Practice/Specialty Administrator. Education: Bachelors Degree in an appropriate discipline (or equivalent) preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of management and supervisory principles, practices and techniques, often acquired through MBA, MPH or MHA degree or equivalent training and work experience.
