Job Description:
This position is responsible for providing assistance with respect to all aspects of the company's federal and state tax affairs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepares and oversees federal and state corporate income and franchise tax returns.
Responsible for tax accounting for quarterly and year-end provisions in accordance with
SFAS 109 - manage company's effective tax rate.
Prepares and/or reviews calculation of quarterly estimated tax payments.
Advises senior management with respect to all aspects of the company's tax position.
Considers methods of minimizing the company's effective tax rate and overall tax burden.
Manages tax depreciation through BNA Fixed Asset software.
Manages all aspects of federal and state audits.
Provides guidance on all corporate tax issues, including potential tax planning opportunities.
Researches tax issues impacting company.

Education, Experience, and/or Skills Required to be Considered a Candidate:

· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.

· Minimum of 10 to 12 years of domestic and international corporate tax experience required.

· Must have strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

· Must have general knowledge of and ability to use tax compliance software.

· Must possess broad general knowledge of federal, state and foreign taxation.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.

· Must be capable of grasping and understanding complex corporate tax issues and their potential impact upon the company.

· Must have experience in performing tax research regarding complex tax issues.

· Must have manufacturing experience.
