Job Description:
The Senior Controller is also responsible for coordinating the annual financial audit, mid-year financial review and tax return preparation with the selected external auditor as well as monitoring the RMA investment funds with selected brokerage account. Daily Function: Meet regularly with the CEO to explain and discuss the monthly financial reporting issues and analysis. Maintain stable financial reporting systems and operations for general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, investments, cash receipts and disbursements, payroll, account reconciliations, monthly financial reporting and analysis. Insure standard financial reporting practices and maintain financial operating procedures and reporting with a focus on strong internal controls, policies and procedures. Support the development of the RMA annual budget and monitor performance. Manage employee benefits plans, office insurance, financial regulatory and legal compliance and tax return preparation. Supervise, motivate, and develop financial staff professionals. Experience The Senior Controller will have seven to ten years of overall accounting experience with a minimum of five years in financial management and will have experience in non-profit organizations.
