Major Duties:DUTIES:(The duties described reflect the full performance level of this position)Natural Resource Progrma Coordination = 60%: Participates in, coordinates, and/or manages natural resources programs and projects. Identifies emerging issues and trends based on appeal reviews and litigation to develop and implement resolution strategies with appropriate line officers. Utilizes appeal reviews and litigartion to develop and implement resolution strategies. Serves as the primary consultant and authoritative expert to the Regional Forester and Staff on the land and resource management and program planning process as required by the Resource Planning Act, The National Forest Management Act, and other Service-wide statutes pertaining to environmental protection and utilization of resources.
