Town of Herndon, located in rapidly developing Washington-Dulles corridor of Northern Virginia in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area and a center for high-growth, high-technology industries, seeks qualified candidates to manage current planning and zoning division of the Department of Community Development. Administer, interpret, enforce and amend zoning ordinance; lead team of enforcement and planning professionals; prepare staff reports, recommendations for Town Council, boards and commissions; ensure highly responsive customer service program. Requires Master\'s Degree in urban planning or related field; at least 8 years of experience that includes public sector zoning and planning, ordinance interpretation, project and personnel management.
