Job Description:
The current open region is Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and Africa . The Manager reports to the Regional Program Director for Asia-Pacific and has a dotted line relationship to the Regional Program Director for Middle East and Africa The Manager, Faculty Programs oversees the development, marketing, sales, enrollment, program operations, and evaluation of his/her set of programs. The Manager works closely with the other regional manager in order to jointly produce general marketing and sales initiatives, enrollment procedures, operations, financial protocols, etc. In addition, the Manager works closely with the regional CIEE Study Center resident staff as well as with non-CIEE partners to deliver high quality programming. Finally, the Manager achieves objectives through successful coordination of activities among various CIEE business units and strong collaboration with CIEE sending institutions. The Manager, Faculty Programs is responsible for a number of quality improvement processes at the CIEE Study Centers in the region. This entails analyzing data related emergency and safety planning, annual reviews of the programs, and other processes as determined by the regional Program Directors. This position plays an important role in the overall global, not-for-profit business, contributing in key areas of portfolio diversity, business and financial management, as well as development and strategic planning. The position requires the use of superior judgment and making key decisions relative to (but not exclusive of) policy, timing, and implementation in all areas of responsibility, and continually (and often immediately) applying sound judgment and knowledge to the expedient resolution of a broad range of issues relative to (but not exclusive of) individual students, program/Center staff, emergencies, and the like.
