Job Description:
Minimum qualifications include a graduate degree in environmental policy, environmental law, environmental management, industrial hygiene, occupational health, environmental health or environmental engineering. Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience preferred. Candidates that are ABD will be considered. Must be able to teach courses in one of the following areas: Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Policy and Law, Environmental Chemistry, or Environmental Management, Economics, and Planning. Ability to teach other courses in the department is desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to interface with a multidisciplinary faculty with a broad range of interest. Establishment of a funded research program in area of expertise that involves graduate (M.S. and Ph.D.) and undergraduate students is expected. Candidate with interest in new paradigms in environmental and public health such as industrial ecology, institutional environmental health, energy, climate change, or biomarkers are preferred.
