They will reoprt and analyze statistical data. The incumbnet must also engage in the day-to-day work of the section as well as training staff, identifying section needs, mnanaging performance and addressing both patient and staff complaints, problem solving and providing sueprvision and leadership within the section. Key Requirements: U.S. Citizenship Must pass pre-employment examination. Designated and/or Random Drug Testing required. Background and/or Security Investigation required. Major Duties: The Supervisory, Medical Support Assistant is assigned to the Patient Business Service department and directly supervised by the Supervisory, Medical Admin Specialist. The incumbent will coordinate and plan the daily activities and work flow of the Medical Support Assistants relating both directly and indirectly to patient care. They will assist in the establishement of policies and procedures for assignments and workloads. They will reoprt and analyze statistical data. The incumbnet must also engage in the day-to-day work of the section as well as training staff, identifying section needs, mnanaging performance and addressing both patient and staff complaints, problem solving and providing sueprvision and leadership within the section. Qualifications:At the GS-8 level, one year of specialized experience equivalent at least at the GS-7 level.
