Job Description:
Responsibilities include: Daily Operations to include, but not limited to, coordination of care delivery, facilitating patient flow and assuring quality patient care; Management, leadership and coaching of nursing and clinical support staff; Quality improvement activities including performance measure monitoring; Staff development and evaluation; Facilitating teamwork to accomplish positive patient care outcomes and patient satisfaction. The individual selected will have documented evidence of leadership skills with emphasis on group dynamics, fostering collegial relationships, problem-solving, program planning and implementation, and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Qualifications: Required: U.S. Citizenship. Graduate of appvoved School of Nursing, current full unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse. Preferred: 1. Minimum of five (5) years successful nursing practice with at least two (2) years of management experience. 2. One year of successful ambulatory care nursing experience. 3. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with patients, families and other members of an interdisciplinary team. 4. Demonstrated history of collaborative relationships with physicians and other support services. 5. Documented evidence of knowledge and skill including but not limited to: Change management, Problem Solving, Customer Relations, Decision Making, Priority Setting, Organization. 6. Ability to work independently. 7. Nursing Admin or Ambulatory Care Certifications. 8. MSN or BSN with Masters degree in a related field. You must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position.After appointment, you will be subject to random testing for illegal drug use.You must have a certification, licensure, or registration credentials in Registered Nurse for this position. In some cases, these may be substituted for experience and education.
