Evidenced based practice & knowledge of functional outcomes and quality improvement to maintain cost effective and quality care. Experienced with evaluation, treatment, assessment, appropriate goal setting, and planning treatment primarily for the out patient orthopedic dysfunctions. Orthopaedic manual skills required. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, verbal and written English communication skills required Working knowledge of computer keyboard required. Ability to work in a fast paced setting and frequent interactions with other with ability to set priorities. Must have exceptional customer service skills. Must be able to act as a role model related to professional appearance & behavior. Must be able to demonstrate and maintain professional conduct to include dealing courteously, tactfully and patiently with patients, co-workers, and consumers. Must have a good attendance and punctuality record and it is expected to be maintained. Spanish or additional language skills are helpful DUTIES: Assumes all responsibilities as outlined on the Senior Physical Therapist job profile. Assists the Director of Rehabilitation Services in developing policies and procedures related to professional development, the delivery of care, quality improvement, and professional competency. Assists the Director of Rehabilitation Services in administrative tasks related to daily department functioning. Evaluates the performance of the physical therapy staff. Provides orientation for new personnel. Provides direct supervision of professional and support staff.
