Job Description:
Responsibilities Coordinate with the Pharmacist in Charge on managing the daily operations of the Pharmacy. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with referral sources, physicians, and patients in the community. Coordinates activities of staff with Driver Coordinator, Lead Pharmacy Care Coordinator and Lead Pharmacy Coordinator Monitors inventory levels, supplies, and equipment stock; requests or orders necessary items through prescribed purchasing procedures. Assists in personnel duties of the department, to include; scheduling and approval of leave requests, recruiting and interviewing in cooperation with Human Resources to meet staffing needs, processing paperwork and time sheets as required by payroll procedures, and submission of employee expenses. Reviews, approves, and allocates expenses to be submitted to Accounts Payable Controls operating costs by effectively utilizing staff, materials, and equipment and carefully monitors expenditures to ensure department is meeting budget goals. Monitors business operations to assure compliance with regulatory agencies; makes recommendations for necessary changes to department heads. All other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Degree in health services administration, business administration, or similar credentials preferred.
