Job Description:
Under general direction, the Intermediate Business/Clinical Systems Analyst represents and analyzes business needs translating them into operational and packaged application system requirements. Analyzes user needs based on a proficient understanding of the industry and packaged applications. Correlates between business, functional, and technical requirements. Translates documented requirements into coded packaged application configurations. Under general direction, analyzes department business processes in order to optimize work flow. Contributes to a dynamic team environment. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant certification in healthcare, business management or information systems is preferred. Minimal of 2 years experience with implementing packaged software solutions. Health care industry experience preferred. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project and MS Visio (or other flowcharting tool) is required. Under general supervision, must be able to prioritize, organize, and assess work in order to meet deadlines. Ability and commitment to meet aggressive deadlines and to cope in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of working well in a team environment and successfully interacting with others at all levels of the organization, including remote teams. General understanding of information systems. Able to correlate business, management and information technology functions.
