Job Description:
Medical Director with clinical trials experience to participate in the clinical development and commercialization of Avastin. The candidate will be responsible for selected development and commercial programs in the breast cancer, gyn and/or melanoma setting. Additionally, the candidate will work closely with the clinical, commercial and business development organizations, and the global development team to develop, implement, and deliver the Avastin lifecycle plan. The position will involve extensive interaction with internal senior management, outside experts, corporate partners, NCI/CTEP and the Industry experience in drug development is highly desired, preferably in the area of therapeutics for oncologic and/or hematologic diseases and preferably with direct BLA or NDA filing experience. Candidates working in the academic setting with strong clinical research experience may also be considered. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. The candidate must have the willingness and expertise to work within a multi-disciplinary team of peers and outside experts.
