Job Description:
They will assist in the establishement of policies and procedures for assignments and workloads. They will reoprt and analyze statistical data. The incumbnet must also engage in the day-to-day work of the section as well as training staff, identifying section needs, mnanaging performance and addressing both patient and staff complaints, problem solving and providing sueprvision and leadership within the section. Qualifications:At the GS-8 level, one year of specialized experience equivalent at least at the GS-7 level. How You Will Be Evaluated:You will be evaluated to determine if you meet the minimum qualifications required; and on the extent to which your application shows that you possess the knowledges, skills, and abilities associated with this position as defined below. When describing your knowledges, skills, and abilities, please be sure to give examples and explain how often you used these skills, the complexity of the knowledge you possessed, the level of the people you interacted with, the sensitivity of the issues you handled, etc. Ability to supervisr and provide leadership Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Ability to assess work flow and day to day operations and coordinate staffing changes to meet facility goals Ability to monitor, analyze and report data Knowledge of VA rules, regulations and directives.
