General responsibilities include: all general ledger and month-end duties, development of policies and procedures for all direct report departments, coordinates all internal and external audits, responsible for all internal control within the organization, responsible for all external financial reporting requirements. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of accounting controls and systems. Formal education and/or experience in implementing, assessing and modifying accounting and financial controls. Previous experience in collecting, assembling and analyzing financial and accounting data and preparing and reconciling ledger accounts. Three (3) to five (5) years specific hospital experience. CPA or MBA required. Proficiency in Lotus, PC Proficiency, Excel, good communications skills and detail oriented. Must have a minimum of one (1) year management experience.
