Responsibilities: Works closely with senior accountants to prepare record and analyze data to investigate variances and assess the accurateness of the data for reporting. Reviews general ledger accounts to the corresponding subsidiary ledger, income and expense accounts, and monthly adjusting memo entries for accurate coding and correct ledger amount. Prepare and coordinate various budget processes for specific business units and general ledger accounts. Supervise A/P and Payroll Departments. General supervision of accounting staff. Reporting Responsibilities: Manages the monthly and quarterly close and prepares related financial reports Coordinates and manages annual external audit. Maintains supporting work papers for balance sheet and selected income statement general ledger accounts for year end audit. Handle special accounting analysis, year-end projects and reports as they are assigned. Minimum Education and Background Requirements Education: B.S. in Accounting degree and CPA designation is a plus Background.
