Job Description:

Accepts fiduciary responsibility for those assignments and functions entrusted to his/her care, advises the Vice President for Business Affairs on the financial condition of the College, and ensures proper implementation of and compliance with all applicable Generally Accepted Accounting Standards and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards. Will also evaluate internal control and management practices, recommend improvements and perform internal control audits as necessary, and maintain/interpret accounting records for various funds. Will maintain relationships with various constituencies on or off campus, and perform or oversee periodic processes within the department. The Controller will represent the Vice President for Business.
