Job Description:
Responsible for financial management and supervision of accounting department of 6 to 10 personnel · Responsible for accurate and timely Internal financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly and year-end basis. · Key contributor to external SEC reporting on a quarterly and year-end basis. · Leads month-end close process and consolidation of financial information for reporting purposes · Active involvement in Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Variance Monitoring, Cash Flow Management and reporting · Develops and administers accounting policies to comply with GAAP, Tax Requirements, SEC and Management Reporting requirements. · Supervisory responsibility for general and property accounting, internal auditing, and budgetary controls. · Interprets operating results and makes specific recommendations which will result in cost reduction and profit improvement. · Reviews income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements and various other accounting statements and reports. · Analyzes financial reports and records, making studies or recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets and expenditures.
