Job Description:
Managing the Accounting Department and Night Audit including A/P, A/R, General Ledger, Credit, Collections in a hotel/hospitality environment. Ensuring all revenues are deposited in a timely manner. Ensuring hotel's compliance on all regulatory licenses and permits, leases, contracts, and the proper execution of all operational taxes. Ensuring that bank reconciliations are reconciled on a timely basis. Establishing and continually auditing all internal financial controls including purchasing, cash handling, disbursements, inventories, hotel assets, and payroll. Preparing, balancing, and reviewing daily reports. Providing management with operational reports. Preparing in conjunction with General Manager and Department Heads, all operational budgets and forecasts. Preparing cash flow forecast on monthly basis. Preparing accurate and timely monthly P&L statements.
