Due to the continued growth of our company we have the following position[s] available: [2] Mechanical Engineer[s] Responsibilities: * Work on product design in a concurrent engineering environment under direction of Product Engineering Manager * Design of Components and Systems to meet functional requirements * Work with suppliers on component product design * Track financial and time schedule progress of projects * Communicate with various departments on a global scale * Coordinate Manufacturing Issues with Production and Suppliers * Define, instrument, collect and coordinate validation tests with Testing Department * Prepare and present product plans, Bills of Materials, Schedules, and Test Results * Conduct DFMEA and present results * Coordinate prototype construction, pilot runs, and first production run * Implement final designs into production * Set cost down targets and achieve them Required: BSME Degree in Engineering Mechanical Preferred or Equivalent Experience Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and principles Knowledge of Metal Fabrication, Welding and Machining skills Personal computer experience (Word, Excel, Scheduling, PowerPoint) Experience with SolidWorks, Alias & Auto-Cad Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance Experience with FEA a plus Preferred: 3 5+ Years Motorcycle Engineering experience Passion for Motorcycles and Motorcycle knowledge fundamentals Experienced Motorcycle Rider **************Please let me know if you know someone that would be a good match for this opportunity.
