Job Description: Develop for review and adoption by the Foundation Board of Directors manage a short term (one year) and long term (three year) strategic plan to include fundraising goals, projects and activities as well as application of resources to support students, programs and activities of the college. - Increase total funds raised by the Foundation based on fiscal year comparisons. Present annual net charitable income goals to the Foundation Board and President for approval. - Increase total number of gifts to the Foundation based on fiscal year comparisons. Present annual participation goals to the Foundation Board and President for approval. - Develop and present to the Foundation Board of Directors a detailed strategic plan to include the projects and activities that support the approved fundraising goals. Report on progress quarterly and update the strategic plan annually. Plan, direct, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the MJC Foundation related to fundraising, stewardship of funds, supervision of staff, operational procedures and donor tracking. Direct the daily activities of the Foundation, including correspondence, accounting, telephone communications, staff supervision and coordination of all Foundation and college fundraising efforts. In conjunction with the Executive Committee of the Foundation Board, prepare an annual budget for adoption by the Foundation Board of Directors. Work with deans, directors, faculty, staff and students from other departments within the College; provide counsel to them in their fundraising efforts. Plan and attend all meetings of the Foundation Board of Directors and its committees preparing appropriate agendas, support materials and minutes. Recruitment of perspective Foundation Board members. Attend all Foundation fundraising and social activities. In conjunction with the college Director of Marketing and Public Relations, develop a public relations program for the Foundation Board.
