Job Description:
Responsibilities: Analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate the accredited operations training programs which includes licensed and non-licensed operators. Have the ability to provide leadership for a group of instructors in a team environment while acting as a liaison to members of the training management staff and Operations Unit. Support the Emergency Response Organization by obtaining and maintaining qualification for ERO positions owned by the Training Section. Support the Outage organization during scheduled refueling outages which may include temporary assignment to the refueling team and/or other outage support positions. Serve as a shared resource in support of HNP, BNP or CR3 refueling outages. Must be willing to work various shifts to support the training schedules including evening and back-shift hours. Provide technical support for the simulator maintenance and testing programs. Will provide training for initial license training program, licensed operator continuing training program, or assigned to the support group responsible for maintenance of training materials and the conduct of assessments. Provide effective instruction in the classroom, simulator, and in-plant settings. Interface with internal groups and external agencies such as INPO and the NRC to ensure high quality training programs are maintained and approved. Job Requirements: Career level. Fully competent in use of both principles and application. Works independently on tasks/projects with limited supervision. Receives guidance only unusual or complex projects or issues. Identifies problems and possible solutions and takes appropriate action for resolution.
