Job Description:
Managing of facilities and equipment which include tracking preventive maintenance schedule, tool calibration record, facility maintenance, and jig and fixture maintenance and upgrade.3. Coordinating resources and activities for efficient work flows and schedules4. Hands-on approach to work effectively and pro-actively with cross-functional groups to meet challenging delivery schedule, quality, yield improvement, cost reduction, and technical/manufacturability issues.5. Maintain and drive improvements to manufacturing quality.6. Create, write, and maintain department ISO procedures for ISO 9001 certification as necessary7. Control costs while continuously improving cycle time.8. Create and maintain ongoing metrics for management review9. Interface with Engineering to ensure production personnel have all required information to build and test products.10. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet those objectives.Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities Required:1. BS/MS in Engineering discipline 2. 5+ years of manufacturing experience in the field of semiconductor manufacturing and/or semiconductor chip making equipment.3. Minimum of 3 years in managerial position.4. Demonstrated progressive advancement in manufacturing environment.5. Solid understanding of statistical process control. Ability to develop and track key indices, and use the trend to steer organization toward continuous improvement.6. Clear understanding of quality management system implementation and maintenance.7. Experience with ISO 9001 certification process8. Good understanding and practical implementation of Lean Methodologies preferred9. Experience with hazardous materials and chemicals used in semiconductor cleaning process.10. Knowledge of HazMat protocol and control, MSDS logs and OSHA requirements, clean room technology methodologies and processes.11.
