Other duties may be assigned.Communicates, manages and develops plans with corporate/divisional input including R & D, Quality, Global Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing.Develops manpower requirements based on product forecasts, sets priorities for production schedules based on new product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply. Directs these work efforts throughout manufacturing Supervisors and Production Technicians. Makes budget recommendations on Capital expenditures and labor.Actively communicates and develops strategies with Environmental Health & Safety for elimination of potential job hazards and minimizing impacts affecting those areas. Defines goals with EH & S to reduce significant impact regarding environmental, health, & safety issues. Comprehends, communicates and ensures compliance with EH & S procedures. Implements corrective actions to prevent non-compliance with quality management systems. Supports activities to assure product can be manufactured in a manner consistent with, Medical Device Directive (, andregulations.Supports initiatives for maintenance, testing, evaluation, and control of equipment and processes to monitor and sustain the .Must comply with requirements of ISO 14001 and BSC Environmental, Health and Safety standards and follow procedures and instructions related to these standards.Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports s Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area they support. Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.
