TN Excellent Opportunity for a career and growth-oriented Paper Machine Shift Supervisor in east Tennessee! You will supervise a crew of hourly employees on rotating shifts, maintain the correct operating parameters for your shift and develop, and teach and enforce safety, environmental and general mill practices and policies. Candidates MUST HAVE a BS in Paper Science or related Engineering degree (or a commensurate level of high speed paper machine experience) plus at least 2 years pulp/paper mill experience. You MUST also be willing to work with minimal supervision and on rotating shifts as well as weekends and holidays, and have the ability to effectively develop and deliver training programs in group settings. Strong Pluses: experience leading a unionized hourly workforce, excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and previous experience coordinating maintenance efforts.
