Job Description:
The answers to business questions are translated into recurring reports, one time reports, and primarily into presentations for the purpose of briefing and advising the customer and other key stake-holders. The Senior Manager, Market Research plays an important role not only as a central hub for key strategic information but as a facilitator, driving organizational communication based on unique insight and understanding of the available data surrounding the key customer groups and their needs for decision support. The answers to business questions are presented in forums ranging from formal meetings with senior management to informal individual briefings with product mangers or field leadership. The Senior Manager Market Research, is further responsible to support the development and utilization of progressively more sophisticated tools, and approaches for the analysis of Solvays customers and the communication of market research outcomes. Other responsibilities will include leading and executing Marketing Research plans taking into account the complex nature of the markets, the products and partnerships.
